Burna Boy, Rema, and Tems' historic appearance as the first Afrobeats performers in the National Basketball Association's NBA All-Star halftime show on Sunday was cause for celebration.

During their performances at the 72nd NBA All-Star Game, Nigerian music celebrities once again put the nation on the international music scene.


The NBA All-Star Game, which was held in Salt Lake City, Utah, on February 20, 2023, was intended to showcase the best basketball players from each conference, including Team Lebron and Team Giannis, in a competitive game while also benefiting charitable causes.

The thrilling performances of both teams were not the only highlights of the evening. Nigerian artists also shared the stage, delighting spectators with an Afrobeat's-themed performance.


Burna Boy was welcomed by Toronto Raptors Cameroonian sensation Pascal Siakam, who opened the show with a thrilling performance of 'Anyone' backed up by his mesmerizing Outsiders Band.


Next next was Rema, who captivated onlookers with his global smash song 'Calm Down' before delivering an amazing rendition of his new single 'Holiday'.


Tems captivated audiences with smash singles 'Free Mind' and 'Higher' before finishing with 'Essence'.
