There may be negligence charges against Davido's nanny and cook

Two suspects detained in the death of three-year-old Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of Davido, and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland, may remain in police custody until their autopsy results are released.

As reported by Rising Starz on Wednesday, the nanny and cook were directly responsible for Ifeanyi's welfare. Additionally, they may be liable for negligence.

As the cook and nanny were directly involved with the child, they are guilty of negligence until an autopsy can be conducted. It may or may not be necessary to release suspects during an investigation, depending on the case.

"So, from a legal standpoint, it will be binding on everyone." It is not only that we are losing our precious children in the creative and film industries; it also affects everyone else. If people have a swimming pool in their home, precautions should be taken to prevent such incidents."

In 2018, Daniel, the first son of another music artist, Dapo Adebanjo, aka D banj, drowned in a swimming pool at his Lagos home.

Meanwhile, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo expressed condolences to the bereaved parents on Wednesday.

"Dolly & I are greatly saddened by the tragic loss of Ifeanyi, the dear son of Davido & Chioma," Osinabjo wrote on Twitter. We beseech our Lord.

Through this traumatic experience, Jesus Christ will comfort and uphold both of them. Amen. We also express our condolences to our brother, Dr. Deji Adeleke, and the entire Adeleke family. We keep you in our thoughts and prayers at all times."

Gbenga Omotoso, the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, urged residents to follow the universal rules that govern the use of swimming pools.

"I'm not sure you need a permit to build a swimming pool in your house," he explained, "but I know that before you build a house, you bring the drawing for the government to approve."

However, in the event of an emergency, whether in a swimming pool or a clubhouse, the state has a solid emergency machinery that swings into action. However, in order to file a report, people must dial those emergency numbers. "The case you are discussing is a family tragedy, and the Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, personally commiserated with Davido on this irreparable loss." “ It is not the time for us in Lagos to start looking into what the government is doing about people building swimming pools in their homes." There are universal rules about how to use a swimming pool; if you are a minor, you cannot enter alone; if you want to swim, you must ensure that there are lifeguards present and that there are people to raise the alarm if anything happens; and the swimming pool must be clearly marked to prevent a novice from going beyond certain depths.
