Celine Dion’s life with ‘Stiff Person Syndrome’ diagnosis: ‘Will she sing again?’

Celine Dion’s future as a musician and singer discussed at length by a top neurologist

A doctor who is familiar with Celine Dion's medical diagnosis thinks she might even start singing again.

When renowned neurologist Dr. Satonsh Kesari, MD, PhD, went down for an interview with HollywoodLife, the discussion got going.

For the benefit of those who are unaware, Dr. Kesari is the Regional Medical Director for the Research Clinical Institute of Providence Southern California even though he is not Dion's personal doctor.

He began by expressing his opinion that Dion would resume her musical career and adding, "I suppose so. There are numerous treatments that can be helpful, so I believe she should simply examine each one individually to determine which will best treat the illness and keep it at bay. I won't say that we can completely eliminate the symptoms, but we can make a big improvement.

However, Dr. Kesari did make it apparent that "there are [still] patients who don't respond as well, or their healing is slow to improve, even on treatment" during the course of their chat. Therefore, in order to truly comprehend this, we definitely need to undertake additional research.
